Forms, Forces and Fragments
I am a collector of forms, contemplating the forces that created them. Freely combining abstract and recognizable fragments, I look for patterns and relationships suggesting non-linear stories that reflect on nature and human experience – a visual haiku.
My current mixed media work falls into three broad categories: works on paper, assemblage, and small sculptural objects.

Biography

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky and studied painting, printmaking and ceramics at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. I began a career in graphic arts after moving to Atlanta, Georgia, eventually relocating to Mobile, Alabama. Years later I returned to Lexington, where I began shifting my focus back to fine art. I have received regional, national and international awards for fine art and illustration in both digital and traditional media and currently live in Louisville, Kentucky.
